Time Lapse With GoPro How To & 7 Examples File Size and Length


The GoPro Hero 4 Silver has two settings we can play with. How often the camera takes a picture (interval) and how detailed (resolution) the picture has.

  • Interval 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 30 and 60 Seconds
  • Resolution 4K and 2.7K 4:3

A video is automatically created by piecing together the individual pictures taken at the set interval.

In this tutorial each example uses 2 hours of footage. The resolution is kept at a constant of 4K.

Also a stationary room has been used so that there is no movement whatsoever apart from the cameras pan. The light source is also kept constant.
